Core Conditioning For Inversions and Balances - Part 1

Join Nico's step by step introduction to core exercises built into their heat building vinyasa sequence. Learn how to conquer the fear of handstands and other balances. We will focus on shoulder stabilizing, stomach and thigh building sequences that will help you "connect the dots" and improve upon your personal practice. We will be using blocks, wall space and off the mat floor space as part of our workshop. So be prepared to set aside your regular expectation of what a "vinyasa flow" class is.  This is not a complete beginner practice as the yogis' bodies will be required to flow and stay focused at a more intermediate pace and level of asanas. Remember to book the Part 2 workshop as it will further strengthen your handstand conditioning. In both workshops we will also be exploring aftercare and cool down routines that will help maintain your inversion practice long term.

About the teacher: Nico is an international nonbinary trans artist and a yoga teacher with 20 years of experience. Nico uses they/them and ki/kin pronouns. Please respect your teacher and self correct if you use a wrong set of pronouns.
